So, I’ve been exercising anywhere from 2 to 4 days a week for about 2 1/2 months. I’ve loss some inches and I can tell my endurance has greatly improved. I would still rather do anything besides exercise, but I’m hanging in there.
I own several Jillian Michaels dvds. I like them because the workouts are short, 20-30mins, but effective. However, over the past couple of months I’ve come to realize that, “Jillian Michaels is the Devil!” She tries to kill you. I’m not exaggerating. On one the dvds she actually says she wants you to “feel like you’re going to DIE!”. Ain’t that some s**t?! One of the dvds I have is Killer Abs. It has 3 levels. She tells you on level one, that you never have to try the others. Well, I tried level two a few nights ago. I never rolled around, stood up and sat back down so much. My audience of 4, Hubby, RJ and our dogs, looked on in amusement.
I’ve said this to say, I’ve discovered my most hated exercise move of all. THE CRAB WALK
I hate it! You see Ms. Michaels doesn’t just let you do as the name would suggest and walk a few steps like this, which is hard enough. No, she makes you walk a few steps then rotate to a face-down position, walk a few steps on all fours, then flip over and start again. This is so hard, it’s frustrating, you feel like your going to fall or break your arm. I have yet to perfect it, I’m not sure if I ever will. I like to think of this part of the dvd as my “rest a minute” time. By the time I get going with one rep, Ms. Michaels has moved on. The struggle is real, folks!
