Congrats, Hubby!

The blessings just keep coming! After 5 1/2 years of being a contracted accountant, Hubby has been offered a permanent job with his company! No one deserves it more. He loves his job and has worked very hard for this opportunity. His new position comes with a raise, yaaaay me him, and better benefits.

I remember meeting Hubby’s department manager a few months after he started the job.  He told me then that they really like my husband and he would do what he could to bring him on board, permanently.  Hubby’s immediate supervisors have also been fighting hard for him to be a permanent hire.  I really appreciate that because nowadays, it’s not often that managers advocate for good employees.  I think a lot of workers feel under appreciated an very expendable.  With such saturation in the job market, some employers don’t care because if they lose one worker, there are 100 others waiting for the spot.  I am thankful and grateful that Hubby’s talents, dedication and work ethic was noticed and appreciated.

It was a long time coming, as I said he has been with the company for 5 1/2 years.  Things were going slow at one point, and then last week he got a call asking him to submit his resume and earlier this week, they made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.  As I said in this post, we are firm believers that everything happens exactly when and how they should.  I am very happy for my husband, and our family. I can’t express how blessed I feel that we both get to go to jobs we enjoy everyday and feel appreciated.  I don’t know what the future holds for our family, but I’m thankful for the blessings we have been giving today.

*Congrats, Babe! You worked hard an it paid off.  I know you will be great in your new position. RJ, Bailey, Brooklyn and I are very proud of you:) Love you always:)*
