I’m finally going to make time to get back into decorating our house. I can’t believe we’ve been here almost a year! Time really does fly by. When we moved in, I was ready to go. We had the entire downstairs and the master bed and bath painted (after I agonized over colors). Immediately after, I went to work completing the look of our bedroom, which I’m pretty happy with. Minus the fact that Brooklyn ate the buttons off the duvet and a hole in the comforter…the hole I hastily fixed, the duvet will need the help of a pro. Now I wish I had let my mom teach me how to sew!! Did I mention how much I love my dogs?
Anyway, then life and laziness got in the way and the decorating stopped. I still had the ideas but no energy to put the plan into action…until now. Lurking on the nest, the married version of the knot, has inspired me. There are couples out there doing amazing things with their homes. Some on shoestring budgets and some with obvious money to spare, but amazing none the less. I know I can do this. Our house is new so we won’t have to tear down walls or anything. The least I can do is hang up a picture! So, I’m back @ it, turning our house into a home!
